Biotech companies claim that genetic modification yields more precise control over artificial selection. For years Monsanto, Dow, Syngenta, and other biotech based agricultural companies have told the public that we have nothing to worry about. This will be the technology that will improve food in every conceivable way. There studies are only performed by them, themselves. When other scientist do the studies its a different conclusion. There are many other studies and we should fear for that because there not so nice. That doesn't seem all that surprising though, does it? We know because were used to eating whatever we want , whatever is in front of our face. The only reason we're not all dead is because GM foods are not the only food that we eat. If 100% of all of our food were genetically modified, then our overall health as a nation would be even worse than it already is.

Childhood Love Lessons: Mini Research Project
This mini-assignment is real, and it's due by Thursday, February 11.
Over the course next few days you will be conducting a mini-research assignment related to issue addressed in bell hooks’ “Justice: Childhood Love Lessons.” Your mini-research assignment will be relatively short but will require your close and careful attention. The research you gather will be used to help answer the proposed research question you have selected. While the research process is what is the focus here, the end product will be a draft summary of your research and a 150-word abstract. So, you will not be writing a research paper on this topic.
